Shipping Policy

Deco Coat Private Limited ("we" and "us") is the operator of www.decocoat.in ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you agree to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement, to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

1. General

Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website, but from time to time there may be a stock discrepancy and we may not be able to fulfil all items in your order. In this instance, we will fulfil the available products to you and contact you to ask whether you would prefer to wait for the backordered item to be restocked, or have us process a refund for it.

2. Shipping Costs

  • Orders with an invoice value under ₹1500: a shipping fee of ₹150 applies.
  • Orders with an invoice value of ₹1500 or more: free shipping.

Payment for shipping, where applicable, is collected at checkout, and this is the final shipping cost charged to the customer.

3. Returns

3.1 Return Due to Change of Mind

We will happily accept returns due to a change of mind, as long as a request to return is received by us within 30 days of receipt of the item, and the item is returned to us in its original packaging, unused, and in resellable condition.

Return shipping is paid at the customer's expense, and the customer will be required to arrange their own return shipping.

Once the return is received and accepted, we will refund the value of the goods returned to your original payment method within 10 business days. Shipping charges paid on the original order are non-refundable. We will notify you by email once your refund has been processed.

3.2 Warranty Returns

We will happily honour any valid warranty claim, provided it is submitted within 90 days of receipt of the item.

Return shipping for a warranty claim is paid at the customer's expense and is non-refundable.

Once we receive the returned item for a warranty claim, you can expect us to process your claim within 7 days.

Once the warranty claim is confirmed, you will be given the choice of:

  • (a) a refund to your original payment method
  • (b) a refund in store credit
  • (c) a replacement item sent to you (subject to stock availability)

4. Delivery Terms

4.1 Transit Time

Shipments are generally in transit for 2–7 business days.

4.2 Dispatch Time

Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days of payment.

Our warehouse operates Monday–Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays, when the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to keep shipment delays to a minimum.

4.3 Change of Delivery Address

We can update the delivery address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

4.4 P.O. Box Shipping

We ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We're unable to offer courier services to these locations.

4.5 Items Out of Stock

If an item is out of stock, we will wait for it to become available before dispatching your order. Other items in the order will be reserved while we await this item, unless you advise us otherwise.

4.6 Delivery Time Exceeded

If your delivery time has exceeded the forecasted window, please contact us so we can investigate.

5. Tracking Notifications

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link to follow the progress of their shipment, based on the latest updates from the shipping provider.

6. Parcels Damaged in Transit

If a parcel is damaged in transit, please reject it from the courier where possible and contact our customer service team. If the parcel was delivered without you present, please contact customer service for next steps.

7. Taxes

Sales tax has already been applied to the price of goods as displayed on the website.

8. Cancellations

If you change your mind before receiving your order, we can accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If the order has already been dispatched, please refer to our Refund Policy.

9. Insurance

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value stated by the courier.

9.1 Process for a Parcel Damaged in Transit

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.

9.2 Process for a Parcel Lost in Transit

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has investigated and confirmed the parcel as lost.

11. Shipping Time

  • Minimum: 2–3 business days
  • Maximum: 7–8 business days
