1. Measure
With gloves on, pour the resin and hardener into the mixing container in the ratio 2:1 by volume — for example, 200ml resin and 100ml hardener.
2. Mix
Stir well for at least 3 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom as you go. Try not to whip air into the mix while stirring. Any unmixed material will leave sticky spots that won't cure. Once mixed, you'll have about 60 minutes of working time before the resin thickens and starts to cure.
3. Pour
After making sure your piece is level, pour Deco Coat 3D Epoxy Resin over your work. Since it is self-levelling, it will spread and level on its own. Let the resin run over the edges and tidy up with a brush. You'll notice bubbles rising to the surface — most will pop on their own as our resin is specially formulated to do so. You may use a heat gun over any remaining bubbles if required.
4. Wait
Leave your piece in a dust-free space while it cures. In about 5 hours it will be dry to the touch. You can apply a second coat after 4–5 hours if needed. It will be fully cured within 24 hours.
5. Clean Up
To reuse your mixing tools, wipe them down with a paper towel before the resin dries.
