1. Measure
With gloves on, measure the resin and hardener into the mixing container in the ratio 3:1 by weight — for example, 300g resin and 100g hardener. A kitchen scale is strongly recommended for this product as weight-based measuring is more accurate than volume for deep casting.
2. Mix
Stir slowly and thoroughly for at least 3–5 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom as you go. Use slow, steady strokes — avoid whipping air into the mix. Any unmixed material will leave sticky spots that won't cure. Once mixed, you'll have about 5–6 hours of working time, giving you plenty of time for bubble removal and placing embeddings within the resin.
3. Pour
Make sure your mould is level before pouring. Pour slowly to minimise bubbles — the low viscosity means the resin will flow and self-level naturally around embeddings and into corners. Do not exceed 20mm depth in a single pour. Bubbles will rise to the surface on their own; a brief pass with a heat gun will take care of any that remain.
4. Wait
Cover your piece loosely to keep dust off and leave it undisturbed at room temperature. The resin will be safe to demould after 3 days. For sanding, machining or finishing, wait the full 10 days for complete hardness.
5. Clean Up
To reuse your mixing tools, wipe them down with a paper towel before the resin dries.
